Becoming educated about pregnancy and childbirth helps you get your birth off to a good start.  I am a trained, certified childbirth instructor who can teach you and your partner the skills you want to have the birth for which you're hoping.

MY 12 classes meet In Brentwood Tennessee.

Classes are held in a teaching studio in a comfortable and spacious home in the city of Brentwood, TN close to Cool Springs Mall. Classes use a variety of learning activities including group discussion, viewing birth videos, and practicing labor management techniques.  Limited to about seven couples, these classes allow for individual attention and friendly interaction among the expectant parents.  We always look forward to our reunion dinners--with the babies!

The emphasis of my classes is on learning to trust and listen to your own body. The foundation of the Bradley Method is an inward focus, relaxation on all three levels, mental, emotional and physical. Some call it a gentle form of self-hypnosis. We use deep abdominal breathing like that in yoga.

These are fun classes with lots of laughter and learning. My goal is for you to have a wonderful birth experience and to feel good about your decisions. I am a gentle Bradley teacher.
